ACQUISITION PROCESS

The watercolors of Cynthia Reeves Snow span the decades from the 1930s through the 1990s.  Within each decade, the works are generally organized by orientation (horizontal preceding vertical) and for the most part within each orientation in order of size (from smaller to larger).  Unless noted as “no longer available” (and subject to placements made since the preparation of this material), the works are available for acquisition by individuals or by museums / institutions.  Matting and framing decisions and costs are to be handled by the patron entirely.

Very modest shipping costs will be paid by the patron.  For security and ease of tracking, shipment will be by FedEx tube (third business day delivery) unless other arrangements are requested by the patron.

Note:  All efforts have been made to faithfully reproduce the works, but due to the reproduction process and the differences between individual monitors, subtle variations in color and tonal balance from the original may result.  If you have specific concerns, please feel free to contact us, as indicated below.

FOR INDIVIDUALS

Upon her retirement from the University of Connecticut in 1977, Cynthia Reeves Snow asked that the money which would have been spent on the typical retirement party of the times go instead toward a scholarship fund in her name to assist future art students. We will continue to honor her wishes with proceeds from the sale of these watercolors going to that scholarship fund. Each "full-sheet" work (22x30 or larger) is $200; smaller works are $100 each. Checks may be made payable to Carol Snow. The address is shown below.

FOR MUSEUMS, INSTITUTIONS OR GALLERIES

We are pleased to donate works to museums or institutions, asking only for the cost of shipping. Arrangements can be made with galleries to place works for resale.
